Our Leadership
Myles Bugbee, Founder
Myles Bugbee is an award-winning digital strategist and perhaps the one person in America dubbed "Mr. Technology" by the US Senate's only seven-fingered dirt farmer.
Bugbee has more than a decade of experience leading digital programs. He’s consulted on campaigns from the school board to the White House. In 2023, he advised on digital paid media for Red Wine and Blue’s IE in the Ohio Issue One ballot referendum and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court election. He created seven and eight-figure media plans at AL Media for Gov. Katie Hobbs, House Majority PAC, and Stacey Abrams, was the national digital director at For Our Future, a super PAC focused on battleground state organizing, and managed the digital team for Sen. Jon Tester's 2018 reelection campaign.
During the 2018 cycle, Bugbee harnessed the power of digital organizing to connect online and offline with a network of regional and affinity Facebook groups across Montana. The user-generated testimonial videos known as "Testermonials" generated thousands of shares, amplifying organic reach beyond paid impressions. He spoke about relational persuasion on Josh Klemons’ Hello Merge Tag podcast.
Bugbee and For Our Future won a 2021 Reed Award for Best Use of Humor in an Online Video (IE) called "Friends Don't Let Friends Vote Naked,” a video designed to remind Pennsylvania voters to use the secrecy sleeve before mailing in their ballots. He was interviewed about this campaign here.
Bugbee started his political career at GMMB, learned digital fundraising at Anne Lewis Strategies, woke up early to compile media clips from across Texas and drafted surrogate and policy speeches on the Wendy Davis for Governor campaign in 2014, and gained skills in digital organizing and media strategy at Joe Trippi & Associates.
Bugbee was born and raised in rural Oregon. He attended Portland Community College and then earned a merit scholarship to Rice University, where he graduated summa cum laude.
When he’s not polishing media plans or finding insights, he’s an avid basketball fan (both playing outdoor hoops and rooting for the Portland Trail Blazers —there’s always next year!)
Now Bugbee and Persuasion & Pixels are ready to help you and your agency or organization win in the online attention economy.
